2026 Conference Highlights

Continuing the Black Freedom Struggle:
Honoring the Past, Igniting the Future
(1776–2026)

From February 5–8, 2026, leaders, scholars, creatives, and change-makers gathered in Montgomery, Alabama for a powerful and purpose-driven conference: Continuing the Black Freedom Struggle 1776–2026. Held in the historic city of Montgomery, the four-day event served as both reflection and rallying cry—bridging 250 years of resistance, resilience, and reimagining freedom in America.

The conference closed not with finality, but with a call:
to organize intentionally,
to lead courageously,
and to continue the work.

In the spirit of Montgomery’s legacy and the generations who paved the way, attendees left inspired and equipped—ready to shape the next chapter of the Black Freedom Struggle.

The movement continues.
